    Looking for RCA connectors

I have an old pair of 3M AudioQuest Topaz 2 cables that I would like to turn into 6 1M cables. I need to find RCA connectors for this little project but the problem is that this cable is 3/8" in diameter (I guess about 10 mm). Does anyone know where I can get 'large' RCA connectors that will accomodate this thick cable? The largest I've seen so far is 8 mm connectors. Thanx for any info.

Welborne Labs in Denver CO carry Cardas and other brands; I've made some interconnects using AudioQuest cable and Cardas connectors (I dig the rhodium stuff!) I know, Heresy! Parts Connection in Canada also carries stuff like that, but is more of a hassle because of Canadian shipping.

Oh and I know this won't be popular but you could always drill out the bottom hole to fit larger cables if needed I've done that before and when covered with heat shrink cable no one's the wiser

            Thanks guys.

The Cardas connectors are a bit pricey for my taste @ $25/pair. IIRC, I bought the pair of cables for $50 so it doesn't seem worthy to me to throw $75 into them on connectors. Or are they worth it?

I was considering the Dayton WBT knock-offs which are 2 pair for $10 @ partsexpress.com. Any other ideas at about $10 for a pair?

Andrew, I was considering that option but it would be nice to not have to do that...ya know.

Did you check Parts Express? They have a large product line, so it wouldn't surprise me to see they have these...

Contact Paul, he's the PE tech support person. He can tell you if the cable will fit in their RCA's.

There are a number of "generic" larger RCA's, but getting the specifics for the cable size is sometimes difficult
