    Dad's pretty much complete HT

Took some pics of the Kitchen setup and the HT in the living room in its current state.

Kitchen - Zone 2 of a Denon 1911 and Lineup F4 full range speakers.

They needed to be pointed down a pit but otherwise they are PERFECT for the kitchen. Clean, clear, balanced output, I would have liked for them to be a bit closer to each other but mom wanted them tucked up and away.

They love it and that's all that matters.

HT - The center channel has been taken out (old Polk something or other) and instead is just using C-killa's as mains and MCM in-walls for the surrounds. The receiver is a Denon 1911 and the sub is a custom ported quad Elemental Designs 7kv.2.

The C-killas may eventually get redone since I am not totally happy with the way the laminate turned out. They look great after about a 1ft away.

Looks great! So, does it all sound as good as it looks? Nice work on the wood stain....especially on the front L/R speakers....they match the room very well. Take care, Randy

Thanks Randy! IT does sound pretty incredible. We watched a couple scenes from Master and Commander and V for Vendetta and M&C took the cake on really showing capability. Tons of detail and quite enveloping. I think he was stunned on how well it sounded without a Center Channel. I am going to try and build him one to the tough constraints he has though.

The Mains were covered in Walnut laminate. I honestly did not really like working with it. I'd much rather use a hardwood or paint. Maybe veneer.

Try to bring them down a bit and they'll sound lots better!

The kitchen set? They can't. Mom wants them up and away. Not necessarily out of sight, just not taking up counterspace.....
