          I used this stuff for dampening:

          Free support for loudspeaker projects, sourcing OEM speaker building supplies, and passive crossover design. We sell raw speaker drivers (tweeters, woofers, subwoofer, midrange drivers, full range drivers), speaker kits, amplifiers, capacitors, resistors, and inductors.


          2 layers for the top, bottom, and back. Just 1 layer for the sides.

              Good looking build.

              You should cut away the foam that is covering the resistors in the crossover. Resistors give off heat as current flows through them. More current (higher listening volume), more heat. Covering them up with insulation blocks the heat from dissipating. I recommend removing the foam all around the resistors and give them plenty of open space.

                Thanks for the advice. I wasn't sure how much heat they generated, so I just covered everything, but I will definitely remove the foam.
