    Acustic Foam

Hi there, I'm looking to source locally (Mexico) some foam and found a place in Mexico City that specializes in acoustic projects and products www.comaudi.com.

They carry eggcrate and triangular foam. The spec sheet says that it is polyurethane open cell foam with a density of 2 pounds per cubic feet.

Does that sound right/appropriate for speaker building?
    which is better? Triangular? Eggcrate?
They claim that the eggcrate has the following coefficients:

    250Hz 500Hz 1000Hz NRC *
    0.31 0.73 1.04 0.80

    Thanks in advance!
    Ivan.
