    noob question about internal crossover resonance

    hi just had a clueless question about crossovers- when mounted internally don't they add resonance to the enclosure even if its negligible? and are they affected themselves by the internal vibration of the cabinets? thanks for your patient reply.

    It's more the opposite.

    Yes, that's why you'll see crossovers potted in resin in some high end speakers.

    Some capacitors by Claritycap, Jantzen, and Duelund are also built to resist resonances.
