Would it be benefitial (at least theoretically) to build a rack using something like these - http://www.madisound.com/catalog/pro...oducts_id=1046 - on each shelf? I was thinking the pads could be slightly inset into the board below it.
It could make for an interesting rack. As to the sonic benefits, it depends on what component is sitting on the shelf. A turntable may benefit somewhat but solid state electronics probably wouldn't.
