As a DIY enthusiast I have the unfortunate pre-condition of not being German.
A few years ago I was in Germany for the first time and discovered those great German DIY mags like Hobbyhifi and I think there are a couple others.
There are also great PC enthusiast magazines like pcgameshardware.
It would probably be worth learning German to read these - what do you guys do? Do people outside of Germany subscribe? Does anyone ever do translation?
My thought was that these magazines combined with google translation or similar could really benefit from online dissemination with good-enough translation. The PC magazines do it and often have online English content for broader reach. And yet, if they were going to do it, they could have done it a few years ago. Anyone have some answers?
