Or the ghetto way -- a framer's protractor / saw guide. The short leg is something like a foot long.

This isn't rocket science. Go to a woodworking supply store

Buy a lazy susan set like this....


Cut 2 pieces of stock, one larger than the other, 18mm BB ply preferred.
Using a Sharpie mark degree lines radiating out from the center of both pieces
Attach wood pieces to turntable.
This should take all of 30 minutes to build.

Marked a protractor on a 4x4 sheet of masonite...fewer moving parts.

Where is that, Jon. Beautiful. Reminds me a bit of Wyoming but not quite.

It's in Banff National Park in Canda, Lake Lousie. I was there presenting and participating in a CPES Energy and Power Electronics workshop last October. Banff is a very nice area, but Lake Louise and Moraine Lake are particularly spectacular.

Not very much! It was a busy month work wise- that picture was actually taken in between conference sessions in the afternoon through a panoramic window at the hotel- when I did have some free time, it was mostly overcast!
