When did the Dayton RS drivers go up in price?!?

I remember the RS150 was $28 or so last year... Now it's $36.95?

    WOW.

They've been going up as the price of copper and such have gone up, and the USD has fallen in value.

The spot price of copper is now back down as is the price of fuel. These drivers were built when those things were much more expensive.

A lot of the build threads with BOM pricing need to be updated to reflect current pricing.

Well, I bet you guys "over there" can look forward to cheaper (or at least not any more expensive) Seas-drivers when the $ gone up 20-25% compared to the Scandinavian currencies since the summer.

It's (even more) ecxpensive living in Scandinavia now!

Hopefully, they'll lower down prices soon.

Hah, who am I kidding Good thing I bought quite a lot of stuff back when 10 pesos bought a dollar (right now, 14.40 pesos may get you a dollar).

That's too much work given how many different BOMs there are... When I have the time I'll post notices people need to check for current pricing...

                Hi Jed,

Actually, I did update all of the Statements series speakers BOM's to reflect price increases just before the 1st of the year. I'm not sure that Curt has them all posted yet though.

Just a rough overview of the total cost of drivers and crossover parts per pair of speakers except for the center which is just for one of course:

                Statements - $820
                Mini Statements - $590 - $670
                Monitor Statements - $500 - $525
                Statements Center - $320

                Jim

I just added this to ALL the designs in the Missions accomplished section.....

Notice pricing has increased for all the designs in this section of the forum. People should use the BOM's and check with suppliers for current prices

Being in New Zealand, shipping now is much more expensive. The last lot of drivers I bought was way back when NZD $1 = USD 0.74... now the exchange rate has weakened to USD $0.55 (ouch).

                    I got a quote for 4 Usher 8545P (?) drivers = USD $200 to ship!!!!!

FWIW, I updated the Khans at the first of the year. It was scary to see the price increase. But, I understand where it is coming from and it is what it is.

Not while demand is down so much. The Fed minutes show that the FOMC is still worried about deflation. 8O 8O
