The parts express catalog says to go to the website to find the project details. I have not searched real hard on this forum, but I did not see his project listed on the parts express website. Did I miss something, or is the website not yet updated with te project details?

I completed a write up for PE awhile back, including full details that I believe will end up in the project showcase and in a sales flyer as a featured project, but when that will happen I don't know. You can see the plans for the projct here (courtesy of LouC):

They shot the cover in a high rise condo building in downtown Dayton at dusk. No, I was not there. My wife and I dropped the speakers off for that and then PE had a guy drive them back when they were the proofs were ok'd, etc.

Ah. I wondered if the speakers were just Photoshopped onto a stock photo of a girl on a couch or whatever it was. I did notice the shadows behind the speakers, so it would have been a pretty decent Photoshop job

A well-deserved honor

I wish I could come even close to Dan's wood-working abilities, especially the wood veneering and his no-fear use of angles, etc. Now, until the 2010 catalog is available, we can all just look at and drool over the 2009 catalog cover (and don't forget to look at the speakers :P )

It is my understanding that they will featured in the project showcase on the PE site and also featured in a sales flyer, with full write up. I did the write up a couple months ago now, but I don't know when it will be published.

You know some day when I have the space for a separate 2 channel system I may have to try and take these on. They look rather complicated to build though. But they look interesting. They really are neat looking speakers.
