    Zaph's ZMB4 to MTM?? Possible??

I have built 4 of ZMB4 and love them. I was looking at the specs of the MCM 55-1853 driver when I read a review where someone had built it also but wanted more sound so he converted it to a MTM and loved the results.

Did he design a new crossover or is that just a minor change.

I assumed a hole new cross over was necessary, but I am new to this and want to check up on my basic understanding.

    Thanks

Your basic understanding is correct. It would take a major redesign.

I didn't design a new crossover, but someone else made some simple assumptions, accepted the disclaimers, and guessed at some MTM values. I think I may have made some suggestions. I don't remember who or on what forum it was discuss though unfortunately.

Can't say I really support a design that's based on untested guesses either, but the guy seemed happy with it if I recall. You'll have to search to find it, likely on the PE forum.
