Sub help..

I have a sub loaded with a dayton Titanic 15" driver which performs great. I thing of building a new sub with 2 12" drivers. The sub will be of a sealed design and fire downward, like the 15" I have already.
One Titanic 15" driver:
vas=7.79 cu/ft
Qms=5.89
Qes=.41
Qts=.38
XMax=20.5mm
Fs=19.93 Hz

Two Eminence Lab 12" drivers:
Vas=4.4 cu/ft
Qms=13.32
Qes=0.39
Qts=0.38
XMax=13mm
Fs=22 Hz

Which would be a better performing system....Jon

One of the Tempest-X or a couple Shiva-X drivers from Exodus Audio

I take that to mean that the Tempest-X and Shiva-X drivers are more suitable than the Dayton or Eminence drivers?......Jon

I'm not sure what you mean by the term "suitable".

Compare the T/S parameters, in particular look at the Xmax numbers...
