    Creative X-Fi ExpressCard and LspCAD?

I was wondering if anyone has successfully gotten the Creative X-Fi ExpressCard 7.1 soundcard to work with LspCAD emulation? I just purchased one, but have been unable to get emulation to work on any more than two channels. My set up is:

    LspCAD 5.25 Pro
Emulation output setting as a Pro card with all eight channels set to the X-Fi. Setting the output to Multimedia card and selecting 4ch output resulted in a "not supported" error message.
Audio setting in the Windows control panel is to 7.1 home theater speakers with the X-Fi set as the default playback device.

    Dell Inspiron 1525
    Windows XP Pro SP2

Any ideas? I'm hoping it's just a bad combination of settings and not that the card won't work for LspCAD at all.
