i've been bringing a lot of negative topic to this board lately- talking about damaged tweeters, replacing tangbands and such. it's not my personality but my luck that brings me to talk about these things. because i just found out that the bass controller i got from CSS is defective. it plays way too quiet and the high pass filter fuction doesn't work correctly- even with it on at 50hz, there's still vocals coming out of my subwoofer. lol talk about a broken unit... i bought way too many stuff in the past and this is the first time ever i came across a defective purchase. anybody have a luck like mine? how often do you come across broken goods?
how often do you run across defective purchase?

it looks like the fault is with the SDX driver itself not the reckhorn controller. I'm not as surprised as much since there's already two reports on avsforum about defective sdx so the problem is not rare. the shipping on it is gonna break my piggy... would CSS cover shipping both ways if the product is defective like this?- Bottom

Direct communication with the company where a product has been purchased is the correct method for getting questions answered.

Final post added by moderator. The OP had the voice coils wired incorrectly, there was nothing wrong with the driver
