Crossover placement (newbie question)

I measured the length of my wires a little too short and had to mount the crossover about 5 inches from the driver. Would the inductors cause significant interference with the tweeter/drivers? Should I get new wire and resolder the crossover? Thanks.

The most likely side effect would be that the inductors would increase in value from being placed close to the metal of the speaker frame. At 5" away I doubt there is an audible difference.
