Looking for Vifa M17WG-09-08

I am looking for a pair or two of Vifa M17WG-09-08's for an upcoming project. Does anybody know where I could find some? I have been searching the web for several days looking for a pair but since they are discontinued they are hard to come by.

Hey, those looks pretty good.

Looking a little closer, these two drivers have some very different parameters according to the spec sheets on the tymphany website. The one that gets me the most is effective piston area. Aren't these the exact same paper cones on the exact same magnesium chassis? :E Perhaps Vifa had an intern test the parameters on one of the two. ops:

The disparity might be due to the surround on the SG version being attached to cone on the top side,whereas in the WG version the surround is attached to the back side.Maybe they don't include the extra area of the surround in the spec for the SG version? A close look at the pics show it and I have seen both drivers and was curious as to why they attached them differently.Maybe for quick identification during manufacturing?Otherwise the cone and chassis appear to be identical.

I can see the differences in the surround/cone attachment that now that I look at the pictures again. That's very interesting. Thanks for your insight.
