It is interesting how similar in many ways that RF and AF are, even though they're completely different kinds of waves, in completely different media.

A Smith chart? They've got to be kidding. I see no way that's easier to interpret than a standard gain/phase plot for audio speakers, unless someone is waaay familiar with their use (I'm and EE and I wouldn't use a Smith chart for loudspeaker impedance representation).

I think the idea wasn't "easier" but a more accurate representation of what's going on. So, if your the ultra perfectionist, it may be the more useful tool.
