    Cabinet damping question

I'm attempting to finish up the cabinets for the D44 today, but I don't have as much damping material as I thought I did. What would be the best way to finish these with what I have. The top and back piece are glued in place and I have 4 of the other pieces left.

I could center them on the sides like this:

Or I could move put them against the back piece like this:

Or I could put them up against the baffle and stuff the back with a little pink fiberglass. I also have a couple sheets of PE egg crate foam, but I've read it's not that great. Opinions?

Another option is to wait until I get my PE order.

I probably should have put this in the Lineup series thread. ops:

The foam you have will be fine to fill the gaps or where you ran out of sonic barrier. Just use equal amounts of each type of dampening material in each speaker so you are consistent, that way you know the voicing will be the same.

        Thanks Jed!

On a side note, I have one Maxx cabinet clamped up right now and the other waiting. They sure are some slim towers. I'll post pictures later tonight in the Maxx build thread.
