    Crossover newb here

Building my first crossover, and I've studied the inductor positioning do's and dont's, but does it matter which end of the inductor is "in" and which is "out"? They aren't labeled and this is my first time even working with an inductor (Still not really sure what they do even )

Oh, and when a component goes to ground, does it have to go to the ground wire going from the terminal to the tweeter or does it go directly do the ground?

None of the components in a standard crossover are polarized.

Normally in a crossover ground is ground, the path to get there doesn't matter. There are occasionally some exceptions to this depending on the type and topology of the design.

im about to wire my first ever crossover for the Statements that im building. so excited and full of noob questions... what speaker wires do you guys use for internals? i remember in my last vifa/seas mtms there was silver canare wire used throughout- the guy who made them had spared no expenses and id like to get the most bang for the buck.
