Interesting waveguide measurements

Interesting indeed. Pattern control is a problem below 2-3.5 kHz in most of the combinations. Would have been good to see the behavior out to 30 kHz; most of theses waveguide/tweeter combo's I've played with have some reflections in the mouth which cause some irregularity in the 18-24 kHz area. A function of mouth size; it doesn't show up with a true compression driver and waveguide like the BMS4540 and DDS ENG1.the AudioWorx

Besides irregularities those WG don´t have constant directivity properties. Does the small amount of on-axis response lift in say 8k+ region helps to smooth power response? Can you tell me how wide horizontal angle is reasonable to take into account for design?- Bottom
