Logo 4 Mission accomplished designs

Since my system is now done (7.1), it seems too selfish to say,"I built them".

Does anyone have the means to design a Logo that we can use and get it on our finished speakers.

Any thought to this at all. Don't get all modist at this point.

Maybe I'll give it a whirl tonight when I get home. I did this one to put on my own speakers. I haven't had any made yet though. It's going to cost me $280 for 50 of them the same color as the jpeg, 1"X1", or $150 in 1 color. Both are laser cut to the edge of the letters. It wouldn't include the "Audio" part, just the M2O. (Made to Order)

That should really be vector art though. It never looks quite right otherwise. While I don't have the time to gen up samples, my thought was to just use the existing htguide logo with cursive font (similar to the forum logo at upper left), and underneath that just put "Mission Accomplished!" in italics.

The original is vector art. I created it in Illustrator but didn't think many would be able to view it if I posted it as an EPS.

The problem with HT logo is that it is more than likely only 72 dpi. It shouldn't be too hard to recreate it though, just have to find the font that was used. I'll see what I can do at work tomorrow. I don't have a huge font collection here but we have thousands at work.

Using the original Illustrator file, you can make it any size you want to. You can blow it up bill board size or shrink it down.

I would email the hires image to you and you could either take is somewhere locally and get it engraved to match, or have it printed on acrylic, like I plan on doing.

Here is the info and contact for the guy I was dealing with. I think they can do metal engraving also. Website is fotoforms.com.

There are a couple options. If we just print the image and cut to square,
you probably have a $50.00 set-up (one time) plus about $3.00each based on
the quantity you are looking at. If we print the image and cut to the
letters edge, it might be $75.00 set-up plus $3.50-4.00each. Third option
is just to cut the image from colored acrylic (one color, no printing). This
might run $75.00 set-up and $2.50each. Higher quanitites will bring the
cost down more.

This would look great just as the colors are. So would this be considered like a power buy of sorts. Get as many people together as we could to avoid the set fee duplication ?

Any chance we could see one that is complete, even if it isn't one of ours.

Do you want it printed on a plaque or cut out to letter size?

The set up fee is a one time price, so I'm assuming we could order just 1 and it would cost $80ish weather we liked it or not. If we liked it they would be $2-4 each, depending what we go with.

Check out the PCM Logo they did. There are other examples to look at too.

I could add a background plaque to the file and they would cut to the outline of the plaque then all the letters would be raised. I think that would look pretty cool.

The problem with HTG.com it looks like is that it's currently being squatted on.

Anyway, I did up a design sample. Kaufmann was the closest thing I had to the HTG font. This was done to be die-cut as an oval sticker... it might look snazzier if you could find an oval plastic standoff/holder to place it in, but I added some fake reflection anyway.

You're going to have a problem in that you now have to produce a dozen different short-run custom items. Just doing on short-run batch will likely be expensive, especially done in metal.

But if you wanted you could slap a second (perhaps less expensive) decal underneath:

You also have an issue with color matching against colored woods and black gloss, sizes, and positioning. Just for reference (hopefully Evil Twin does not force choke me for usurping his images):

I'll have to agree that HTG.com gets you to a handyman site , but I like the look better of Poorboys logo.Maybe his style with the full website name.
