I'm exploring the possibility of going to a pro amp to power AVA 15 (dual 2 ohm VC) because I will be using a BFD to eq the sub tomy room. I presently have the AVA housed in a 4.5^3 sealed box. I've looked at two amps as possible candidates:
Behringer EP1500 (700W/ch) (1400W bridged)
Nandy XA-900 (450W/ch) (900W bridged)
What would be the best way to power the AVA with a pro amp? Bridged or in 2-ch mode?
What additional equipment would be needed to mate the pro amp thru the BFD to my Outlaw 950 pre-pro?
I don't plan to add an additional sub in the future nor do I wish to overpower the driver. Any suggestions would be welcome and thanks.
