    New sub project (Quad 10")

My friend would like a small footprint subwoofer with headroom for his HT.I was looking through my PE catalog and thought about (4) Dayton Titanic MKIII's http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshow...TOKEN=38661672.

Now they are 125.00 shipped(Free). I would mount them on a 11"W X 22"H X 23"D cabinet with two front firing and two back firing. They cound be driven with a EP2500.With that displacement maybe a Marchand BASSIS or a dedicated LT.

I want to do dual cabinets with dual bridged EP1500's.

What are your thoughts. My cabinet guy would do the cabinets in cherry stain maple.

How about a smallish cube with 1 driver on each of the 4 sides?

Although they aren't 'pretty', at $109 delivered the TC-Sounds dB-500 looks like a winner

That would be great if i could get some. They look to be out of stock.

I'll throw that idea around with the four sided sub.

PE has the dayton 1000watt outboard amp for 350.00 (shipping for free).Time to jump.

Since this is for music i'll forego the LT and se what it will do.

I was suggesting using the 12"s, and I'm pretty sure an LT will be mandatory if the idea is to have a small footprint.

I guess it's the only way to get down deep. With that small of an enclosure and multiple drivers taking up more space I'd have to force them to do what I want.

We've scaled it down to quad 8" http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshow...number=264-854

Is it a problem to have four active drivers in one open enclosure ?

Not a problem at all. I did the same thing with 4 of the RS 15" HO's and they turned out great.
