CLD seems to be very effective. I've built several test panels and have recorded the results.

Would someone host the wav files?

Here's what 3 of the panels look like. Each are 3/4 X 5 X 22. They are dropped on the end from 1 inch high onto a concrete sidewalk. The first is MDF, the second is plywood (pine), and the third is plywood/1mm roof patch/.25 inch plywood.
