    Solder directly to Seas h1212?

Or use the female disconnects that I can not find locally in that size?
I thought I read some where that the seas tweeter was easy to damage by solering directly to it.
    If I am careful?

If you have a good hot temperature controlled iron, make a good mechanical connection first, and solder properly by heating the tab and flowing solder on it quickly, you shouldn't have any problem soldering directly.

Female quick connects can often be found in your local hardware store in the electricals area, besides places like Rat Shack.

I'll look there. I found plenty of the 1/4 inch ones, but not the tiny ones used for tweeters.

In order to find the small size used for the H1212, you must order from an electronics supply house such as mouser or digikey. The good news is that a 1/4" female will work just fine on the tabs provided. Do not center the 1/4" female over the tab but offset it so that one side of the connector is holding on to the tab. This is what I did for all 7 of my H1212 drivers and I have had no problems at all.

            Thanks Chuck, I considered that.
I did find some "mini GM" female connectors that *might* work in the Pep Boys isle. They looked like they were close to the smae width. But at $ 4.00/5 I was too cheap to experiment. I will try the .187" inch ones crimped to make work...

Madisound has the smaller female connectors. I just bought some for my Zaph Seas project.
