    Porcelain Doll Room Treatment

Ok guys, bear with me here- I have limited latitude about where my speakers can go, and what I can do to improve their sound. Due to the layout of our small one bedroom apartment, my speakers are on a corner TV stand. I've heard better imaging- we'll leave it at that.

    Here's how it's arranged:

The curtains and blinds on the left side can't really get altered, but I don't think they're giving me a coherent reflection when the blinds are closed. The wall on the right is where I think I can get some improvement. I think that if I make a small bench for those dolls to stand on, they can act as cute little diffusers/absorbers. First set of bonus points if I use the box to house the BASH amp I'm using to run my bass shakers. Second set of bonus points if I figure out a way to convince her that a foam backdrop will make the dolls look even better.

    Any comments?

An acoustic background... cover some waffle foam and fiberglass panels with a pretty patterned acousticaly transparent fabric.
If swmbo gets to pick the fabric, you should be good to go!

See, I already tried to get her to pick a fabric to put there, but I just couldn't find the right way to pitch the idea. It was just, "Why do we need to put anything there?"
