what is the idea of 2 tweeters in surrounds

i understand the idea of dipole surrounds with a null in the middle but products like this one get rave reviews:

the tweeters in this box are in phase.

has anyone on this forum done a surround speaker like this?

I have a pair of Time Windows that were done that way in the seventies. I haven't measured them, but they were fun at the time.

Bose (I know, four letter word...) did that in a lot of their products. The ones I have have a crossover that kills one tweeter above 5K.
It actually works pretty well, perhaps not accurate, but a sound many people like.

time window and bose were intended to be main listening speakers. i think of multiple tweeters as unorthadox in that setting but it is very common in surround channel speakers today and i see many that can at least be switched to run in phase.
