FINISHED - Pic of my new TL subwoofer :)

    Dears,

In this week, I finished to my friend a BIG Subwoofers in Transmission
    Line configuration... wiht only 2 x 12" (FS 22hz, XMAX 13mm)

The bass is the best I hear, big resolutin, fast with perfect
transient. For music, nothing is better... IMHO

    The problem is the size (160cm x 70cm x 40cm) and your weigh, 150kg.

Ps. I read english without problem, but write with all problems...

    Tks,

    Renato

              Renato,
Very, very nice finish and construction quality.
I hope they serve you well.

Renato, it's not clear to me on this pic where the drivers and the port are. In the baffle that's already glued on or in the one that hasn't been mounted yet? Is this a true TL with the drivers at one end of the line and the port at the other end? Or is it more of a tapered quarter wave pipe thing with the drivers mounted in the middle of the pipe?

That is nice. I too am curious what stuffing you used. I did some TL's in the 80's and used long fibred wool. Not sure if its still in use..

                    Dears,

Thanks for all nice words ! This is a classic open TL, based on 25hz,
                    1/4 wave - (344/25)/4 = 3,44m - start with 1,5 and finished with 1 SD

In Brazil do not have "long fibred wool", then, after long find and
tests, I use "plumante", is cheaper and very good. See pic:

I put inside of "acrilon" bags:

                    Dennis,

The "port area" is in the end of line, see:

                    Tks,

                    Renato

Thanks Renato, I see how it works now. Two of the braces have cutouts for the drivers.
