    Wiring question

If I have a driver with dual 4ohm voice coils. And wish to pair it with another to get four ohms.Would it be best to parallel the dual voice coils and then series that driver with the other driver for four ohms.

Or do the reverse? Does it matter ? I guess it's a (Parallel/Series) or (Series/Parallel)

    Just wondering

I believe ThomasW has said to wire the VC's in parallel and then series the drivers. IIRC, it has something to do with damping factor.

Of course, if I'm wrong I'm sure he'll come along and let me know!

Series the VC's on each driver, then parallel the drivers together.
