Maybe a decent, new, fanless (?) sub pro amp from Parts Express

Here’s a new sub amp that Parts Express has:

Not that I need a new amp for my sub. But the amp selection without fans is a little limited. This one looks like it might not have fan. So maybe it’s of use to someone out there. The specs say “measured power output: 512 W RMS into 8 ohms at 0.09% THD, 1024 W into 4 ohms at 0.15% THD.”

Yep there's at least one other thread about it, when it was first announced ~2mo ago.

A better option IMO is the ButtKicker... lower price, more power.

      Jon,
You must have missed the thread on it. From what I understand, it is just thier 1000W plate amp stuck inside a box.

OK, sorry about that- I missed the older thread. When I saw this one, I thought it might help someone out there. My real job does get in the way sometimes.

Thomas, how does this compare with the Behringer EP amps?

No one's done a comparison. So what we have is info from people that own one or the other.
