plumbers putty for speaker gasket?

I use rope caulk in the weatherstripping section. Kinda leaves a residue though.

you might also try non-hardening modeling clay

I use a very sticky, pliable material that pros use to attch mirrors to walls with. Don't know the name but it comes in rolls for about $5. A liitle goes a long way. Its available at Home Depot in their paint section. Very good stuff!
