    How to test tweeter polarity...

    Hey guys,
I've read in a few threads regarding the Rs28a that its possible for the red stickerto be in the wrong location. Is there a way to safely test the tweeter, like we can with woofers, for proper polarity?

Use a 1.5 volt battery just like you would to check a larger driver. You'll have to look closely but you can see it.

    Cheers,

    Davey.

I'm not familiar with the battery test. Can you explain?

Its especially hard with the Rs28a, since it has a grill cover.

Kano, you connect the positive and negative from a battery to the positive and negative leads of the speaker. If connected in-phase, the speaker cone should move forward, vice versa.

The battery test works fine, but I never used it for a tweeter. A woofer produces already a big "pop" with 1.5V .
