    Nath P. internal volume

    Hi guys!

Since many of you finally made those Nath P and listened to them, maybe you could help me make a decision. I've read all the threads related to the cabinets construction but didn't find aswers to those question. I guess I don't have to mention that I am a novice (read "total newbie"). My questions are:

I have no space limitation (bigger is better) and I want the best bass possible without subs. I want them vented, since that's how I will get the most bass, and I am gonna make a straight bottom port.

1 - What is the maximum internal volume they can be (that won't harm the driver)?

2 - And with that maximum volume, what is gonna be the optimal lenght of the port? (assuming the optimal diameter is 3'' as I read before)

    Thanks a lot!

I can't help you much, but I read in another thread that 50 liters, per speaker, each with an 11" long 3" port, gives pretty good bass.

There's no benefit to going larger than the floorstanders others have already built.
