Vancouver based DIY

Not too sure how many of you are out there. but i'm looking for ideas on who's willing to attend a north shore based BIY.
I currently work in a large pub with a vast open upper floor that I can reserve for functions. due to our locations we're not limited noise restrictions or the likes. the only concern to my managers are getting enough people to bring in to cover the funding for the day. At least for the upper floor. added in there should be food and the likes.

this IS just an idea in the works right now. but I'm very interested in making this work.

this will be a Vancouver DIY for those under the wrong impression

I'm on Orcas Island and would get a kick out of attending! However, my weekend is Sunday and Monday, so that's likely to cause me some issues, eh?
