    Computer DIY speaker pair

I’m thinking of replacing my computer speakers with some DIY speakers. Something using PE RS drivers is okay and is what I have been eyeballing. Something like a NatP but with 1 5” Mid driver and 1 tweeter (RS28AS and RS150S).

Can the NatP crossover work with a MT configuration? What mods would be needed to use one mid-driver? What is a recommended MT crossover using the RS150S and RS28AS? Smallest box possible.

    Nope

A complete redesign of the crossover

Perhaps you can get Paul to modify the crossover for the shielded tweeter

I believe the Modula MT has the same crossover topology as the Natalie P.

        While we're on the topic...
I realize computer speakers are a whole different ballgame- close field listening, closer to walls, etc. versus regular speakers.
Does anyone know of any really good quality DIY computer speaker designs? Like if one were not looking to save any money, just build some great computer speakers.

I think something like Zaph's design looks good-

I'm using this 3" in a ported box without a tweeter just so I have *something* until my Modula MTs are done, and the Aura NS3-193 definitely sounds like it has some potential. If you had a small sub with Zaph's design, it could be an extremely respectable computer speaker setup.

Since the NatP MTM wll not work as a MT; What about a Modula MT with the 5" driver and shielded RS28AS?

All the crossovers are specific for the drivers used in the design. Changes in the drivers mean a new crossover design is needed.

In addition all the designs contain baffle step compensation. That would impact the performance if the boxes are placed close to a wall.

You might get some ideas or at least folks to ask in this thread:

                Rs150 Mt
