Speakers on Tile Floor?

How is tile floor handled as far as speakers go? Spikes with the washer looking feet?

I'll have a sealed 15" sub as well as RS TMWW mains. Maybe a thin rubber mat under the sub so it doesn't walk?

If you're using spikes then yes use somekind of 'coaster' so the spikes don't dig into the tile.

Rubber or soft plastic feet are probably just as good an alternative to the spikes and coaster combo..

Have a look at these, sold by Parts Express. They are bolt-on "outrigger" feet, and they come with both spikes and rubber bumpers. I just got a shipment of these in yesterday, and they look nice.

You know, I had those bookmarked and couldn't find them. :roll:

I might end up with a set of those. I'm going to start with a set of thin rubber ones (read cheap).
