    Peerless HDS comparisons??

Is anyone in a position to give opinions to any audible differences between the Peerless HDS-Poly, HDS-Nomex, HDS-Sandwich (discontinued) and HDS-exclusive.
Looking mainly at 6.5" and 8" drivers.

Only experienced with the HDS-Poly and HDS Exclusive. Motor design counts, and the exclusive series is cleaner. The 8" has a "floppy" breakup mode around 800 Hz. The 7" and smaller drivers are quite good in my opinion, and solid alternatives to the more expensive Seas Excel drivers. I don't run the 7" any higher than 2 kHz.

Any quick 2way designs with the 830883 or 830882 out there? They look really tempting.

For a low crossover count, wack it with a $30 tweeter (TDFC/TBFCG), should be a nice speaker...
