why sonosub instead of a normal reflex or closed cabinet??
what about pros/cons in building a sonosub

can peerless be used for it?? i have looked at the 10 and 12"

Tube subs are built as ported or sealed. Using a tube equalizes the internal pressure across the surface of the cylinder. That means heavy boxes with massive bracing isn't necessary. There's no audible difference between a tube sub and a properly built box sub.

If you live in the EU and don't have access to anything other than the Peerless then they're obviously the best choice. If you're located in the US then you'll find lots of threads on this forum about the drivers we consider the best choice.

A good sub is a good sub. HT vs music is marketing nonsense.
