Well I moved the 6'+ Tumult enclosure into the basement last weekend and my wife was so happy to see it that she named it "trash" and refuses to look at it.
On that note... let's build another one shall we? :B
I have two Infinity Perfect 12.1d's sitting in a sealed car enclosure from my younger days and a 4' piece of sonotube left over from the previous project. Then I ran out and purchased two 4" flared ports. I have read a few posts of people using these drivers for home use and getting subjectively decent reviews so I thought I would give it a try.
The Tumult and Infinity's model as such in WinISD...
I guess my question lies in the fact that integrating these two different subs will probably end up being a nightmare... but if I can do it, will the Infinity's degrade the sound of the Tumult? Since the Tumult is such a high quality home sub, I don't want to take anything away from the sound.
Or am I being anal and the room will have more to do with the quality of sound than the two Infinity's? By the looks of the SPL graph, I wouldn't mind having the headroom these will provide.
Thanks in advance
