    A speaker that's really hard to clone

    Hmm, I guess this is not going to be very easy to clone...





    The cabinet is made of sand-cast aluminum 8)

      Sand casting aluminum is actually quite a simple process. The only difficulty for most folks would be massing that much molten metal and pouring it.

      If you can manage that, these would be a cinch to cast. In fact, you should be able to slipcast this. I think.

              Oh, if you only knew. We actually have two, and I did some jewelry repair work (my wife broke one of her rings) using these two torches. Silver solder takes heat.

              I've done some things in the metalshop with two torches that weren't possible with one - things my instructors thought were impossible regardless.

              Fun stuff.

              So, um.. lots of kitchen torches, check. Now, what to use for a crucible.
