Well, it definitely needs crossover filters designed for the driver mounted on the particular baffle used, adjusted to the desired target transfer function.
I.E., yes. What did you have in mind? Maybe some of the other guys can help while I'm away this week.

Sorry for ambiguity. I mean filters like notch, zobel, etc... According to the data sheet above, there are the awful peak a the top end and another small peak at the low end. I noticed that certain projects using 27TBFC use filters to control both peaks. However, some don't use. Have somebody had experiences about 27TBFC and the impacts of these peaks? Are any filters like notch or zobel essential for this tweeter? Thanks.- Bottom
