I am trying gain more insight about the subtle aspects of cabinet designs. From what I have read here and on other sites, deeper is usually better to deal with backwaves from drivers. Is this a true statement as a good rule?
I see many designs where the midrange chamber is taller and shallow in depth in many DIY three way designs and if depth is better, I am wondering why that this is not done more often mainly with regards to midrange chambers.
I just want to get some feedback about this issue to educate myself.
