Anybody know how to bypass the crossover on ApexJr's "Junior" Subwoofer Amp? Here's the schematic.

Pin 5 on the connector is the signal input. Feeding a 4558 (nasty little opamp- around since the 70s!) as a buffer. C524 is a passive low pass filter, 1st order. Not much of a crossover. The quick way to convert to full range is remove C524, leave everything else as is. (part of a DC servo feedback setup).
Hope this helps....

Resistance is not futile, it is Volts divided by Amperes...

Huge help! Thanks
Edit: There is another crossover located on the second page. A dual control pot sets the crossover frequency and is connected to pins 6 and 3 on CN1038. Is there an easy way to bypass this crossover too. I only care about removing the lowpass filter on the low-level inputs. If it makes it easier I'm not using the speaker level connections or the line-level out.Last edited by jdybnis; 31 October 2005, 19:22 Monday.-Josh- Bottom
