low resonace enclosure for Modula MT?

just looking at speakers, and how they might work in my situation. a dipole might not work in my room, since I'll likely place a speaker's rear a foot from the wall. plus I rather keep amplification box speaker simple.

can the modula be dropped into a stiff cabinet like Will Audio speakers or Focal or whatever and get a much improved sound? anyone know of one close to a wilson audio, Focal etc...but much easier to build?

Near boundry placement requires changes in the baffle step compensation.

Any speaker will benefit from 'heroic' levels of cabinet construction. The payback however may not be equal to the investment.

There are no easy to build uber speakers...

The PE cabinets have fairly stiff bracing for a commerical style cabinet (i.e., not Avalon like); with their stiffer walls and internal brace, you'd have to go to something more like the "Unorthodox 8" two way" article published in AudioXpress to beta that in a conventional cabinet. A lot more work, and heavier, but perhaps worth the effort. If you're willing to go that far, I'd go with the larger implementation (~60 liters) which has been described in various locations on the threads, tuned to about 34 Hz.
