WES Components have some of the new ones already, and some Vifa drivers they didn't carry earlier.. but most of the new Peerless are due in September.. :T

Looking forward to the frustration of not having the funds to investigate them !!!

if you want the comfort of peace of mind, I suggest learning Anger management, emotional realease, including grief, and emotional detachment. you might be able to by them, but you're heart wont be as ready to enjoy them if your not willing to let go.

Glad to see these up at Madisound finally.... I definitely want a couple pair of 830883 this fall also to play around with.

The frustration part comes with being so busy at work I've not touched speaker hardware in months- working again this weekend. Next Tuesday interviewing a possible AE candidate who would ease my work load, working in our group.

Slightly larger domes, mostly. As with the RS28A, 1.1" tweeters are "in" this season....

Compared to Nextel SEAS, the HDS Exclusive have great prices!

              Jon,

Does the 883 and 884 share a common magnet system? I was flipping back and forth in the DST pages, they seem to have the same "Voice coil and magnet parameters"

I think I'm done building floorstanding two ways (SS8535/9500, H1224/H1212). I'm waiting patiently (and saving up money) for a tiny bedroom sized mini-monitor design or 3/4-way with HDS Exclusive series in the mid / woofer sections...

Some interesting new tweeters I think.

The Cresendo looks like a Millenium replacement. Not that I'll be buying a $270 tweeter any time soon, but it's nice to drool over.

The 22TAF/G (H1283) is a 3/4" that SEAS claims has the low frequency capability of a 1" because it has an extra wide surround. The surround might work like in the vifa/ss ring radiators where it is part of the radiating surface.

The 29TAF/W (H1322) is another wide surround model. It has a wave guide too that I haven't seen on SEAS tweets before.
