3 quick speaker workshop questions, I promise ;)

Finally got speaker workshop working thanks to a helpful post taht should pretty much exactly how to setup the SB audigy 2 ZS. Now on to the tests(and some new questions.)

1. For the closed box test, should the inside walls be damped?

2. Should I subtract the volume that the cone+magnet take out of the box?

3. For the added mass test, how do people fix the mass to the cone? I wouldn't want tape or whatever I use to mess the cone up when I try to take it off.

1. I don't think it's important to damp the sides.

2. It's important to know the volume "inside" the box. It is easier to mount the driver on the outside facing in and add the cutout and cone volume to the box volume.

3. If you do the closed box test, I don't think you need to do the added mass test. The accelerations are pretty small. The mass doesn't have to be attached too strongly.
