Another question about exodus 261 construction

Hello again. I'm still in the process of piecing to gether my 261s and I'm getting excited!

I have 2 small problems though.

    1. I do not have a 1/2" radius round over bit to do the inside of the speaker holes, but I do have a 1/4" bit. Will it make a realistic difference if they are not rounded over to spec?

    2. I do not have a 4" hole saw for the internal braces. As they are expensive, I'm not sure I want to buy one just for this project. Would it be acceptable to cut out more smaller holes if the sum surface area of these holes is still equal to 2 x 4" holes? I ask because I have smaller hole saw available.

Thanks in advance for any help!

    1. The internal roundover radius is not critical so you can use your 1/4" bit.
    2. Yes, you can cut smaller holes and be just fine.

    Enjoy!
