Baby steps

Finally getting a chance to started on changing my bonus room. It won't be a full HT room but it is definitely our entertainment room.

Although the door is taken down, we're painting it the same color as the wall. Venician Plaster


The next step is to decide the wall and trim colors.

Thanks guys. It wasn't to much work and we had the extra paint. Left over from the dining room. As you can see from the original picture, the room had to much white - couches, walls and carpet. The color reall breakes the room up and I think makes it look bigger.

We're thinking of a a Sand color for the wall or maybe even a greenish/grey color to match the carpet on the floor.

Eduardo, that's nice! Like Pr@, I think feature-wall styling adds a lot to a room. We're going with a very similar wall color in Cinemeek. :T

Do you get any bass-bleed downstairs with that big SVS in the corner?

bass bleed? I'm not sure what that means. Below the bonus room is a 2 car garage. And fortunately the master bedroom is downstairs on the other side of the house. So I can watch movies and play games with out bothering my wife at night. She goes to bed to early for my taste.
