Well, you may recall I had a heat problem with my new HTPC based on Abit/XP-1900 CPU right? Well, trying to resolve that, I bought this cheezy fan heatsink assembly from Best Buy along with a couple of cyclone fans. Well, the worst happened, I actually chipped the CPU putting the heatsink and fan on... -
Aside from PVR and MP3 jukebox capabilities and games....
if you were using your HTPC for mostly movies (either a do it yourself lowcost/hi-quality scaler/deintelacer or an all-in-one player/scaler/deinterlacer) do you think that a device like the Bravo D1
is making the HTPC less... -
I've decided to build an HTPC. It will act as a HD DVR and DVD player for starters. It will also feed music to my whole house audio system. It will be Linux based, running MythTV.
