Intel released the 2.5 ghz P4 with the quad pumped bus speed of 533Mhz. It seriously kicks ass and really leaves the Athlon 2100+ XP in the dust. Even a 2100+ Overclocked to 2400+ performance levels can't keep up. Given the scaling the P4 is suppose to have, up to 3.0 Ghz for this core, it may be the king for some time, until ClawHammers will try to take the crown.
I hope the Throughbreds can sort of keep up, but I have my doubt's unless we see some real world clock speed gains of the Tbred's CPU. Clock speed has always been king, couple that with memory bandwith, large 512mb caches and you have AMD's worst nightmare.
